                        -- Dan has worked as a cowboy in California, driven lumber trucks in Oregon, owned a successful restaurant in San Francisco, lived and worked in France for three years, was co-host “Mr. Bobby” of a cable TV comedy show for two years, has raced cars and sailboats, taught skiing in Switzerland, and continues to sculpt strange shapes and play congas with various jazz bands. Currently, Dan teaches English and philosophy at the International High School where, for six years, he was Director of Admissions. A graduate of U. C. Berkeley, he lives with his wife and two sons in San Francisco.
